COVID-19 Test To Treat Site Opens At College Of San Mateo
The initiative provides people with a chance to receive a prescription from a health care provider for COVID-19 treatment after testing.

SAN MATEO COUNTY, CA — A Test to Treat site launched at the College of San Mateo this week, providing an option to community members who want to get COVID-19 treatment if they test positive.
The initiative, rolled out by the federal government in March at hundreds of locations nationwide, provides people with an opportunity to receive a prescription from a health care provider for COVID-19 treatments like Paxlovid, and have it filled on location.
The location at the College of San Mateo — which has been serving as a testing center — is one of five such Test to Treat locations currently operating across the state, according to NBC Bay Area.
