Downed Power Line Reported In San Mateo: Police

SAN MATEO, CA — Police have reported a downed power line Wednesday afternoon in San Mateo and are asking everyone to avoid the area.

At 11:19 a.m., the San Mateo Police Department sent out an alert about a nonactive power line down on Shoreview Avenue between Kehoe Avenue and Maxine Avenue

Police are asking everyone to avoid the area if possible.

AT&T is on scene to repair the issue, but there is no estimated time of repair.

PG&E is not reporting any power outages in the area as of 11:45 a.m.
