Driver Accused Of Two Crashes In San Mateo While Under Influence
Police determined that the same suspect was responsible for both collisions Tuesday night. See photos of the incidents.
SAN MATEO, CA — A driver suspected of causing two accidents in San Mateo while being under the influence of alcohol was arrested Tuesday night, according to police.
Officers responded to a collision at the intersection of South Norfolk Street and 3rd Avenue after a vehicle sheared off a traffic light. A short time later, they responded to a report of a hit-and-run collision near the area of Newbridge Avenue and South Bayshore Boulevard.
Police determined that the same suspect was responsible for both collisions. The suspect was arrested and booked into San Mateo County Jail.
