Emergency Crews Respond to Distressed Kayaker Near San Mateo
The incident was reported Monday morning in the Bay waters.
Emergency crews were responding to a report of a capsized kayaker in the Bay near San Mateo, a county fire dispatcher said.
The incident was reported around 10:30 a.m. in the water near Seal Point Park, located at J. Hart Clinton Drive and Third Avenue, according to the dispatcher.
Local firefighters were responding, along with the U.S. Coast Guard, a Coast Guard official said.
