Family Of Peninsula Man Fatally Struck By SamTrans Bus Starts GoFundMe

SAN MATEO COUNTY, CA — The family of a man who was fatally struck by a SamTrans bus Monday night has started a GoFundMe to cover funeral expenses.

The San Mateo County Coroner’s Office has identified the man as Nemesio Isorena, 62 of South San Francisco.

The crash at Mission Road and McLellan Drive in South San Francisco was reported at around 8 p.m. Monday, according to NBC Bay Area, which was first to report the collision.

The San Mateo County Sheriff’s Office is investigating the crash.

“The Isorena family is devastated by the unexpected news as we were looking forward to celebrate his birthday the next day, November 1st,” the GoFundMe said.
