Home Of San Mateo Shooting Suspect Fully-Loaded With Guns: Police

SMPD said that the firearms and gun parts were both serialized and unserialized, meaning "ghost guns."

SAN MATEO, CA — San Mateo Police said they found a trove of firearms and ammunition in the home of a man arrested on Monday on suspicion of firing at a random car.

William "Billy" Boulier, 38, was arrested outside of his home on Feb. 14 and booked on suspicion of assault with a firearm after a report of a shooting at S. Norfolk Street and Kehoe Avenue came in at approximately 11:21 a.m.

Officers obtained a warrant to search Boulier's property in the 1300 block of S. Norfolk Street, and on Tuesday alleged that they found approximately ten functioning firearms; the parts and pieces of an additional ten firearms, over 30 loaded and unloaded gun magazines, "thousands" of varying brands and calibers of ammunition, and gun manufacturing equipment.

San Mateo Police spent hours on Monday to try and locate the suspect, even creating a search perimeter and calling in the SWAT team. Boulier was later apprehended at this home.

Officers said that all items were seized and Boulier could be facing additional firearms charges.
