Man Arrested For Possession Of Machine Gun And Drugs: Police
An 18-year-old was arrested for possession of a machine gun, other firearms offenses and possession of narcotics for sale, police said.
SAN MATEO, CA — An 18-year-old Belmont man was arrested for possession of a machine gun, other firearms offenses and possession of narcotics for sale, San Mateo police said Saturday.
Carron Patterson was taken into custody about 1:37 p.m. Friday at Delaware Street and 25th Avenue when his vehicle was stopped for illegal window tint and expired registration, police said.
In a black backpack in the back seat, officers found a Glock pistol with a multi-burst trigger, an extended magazine, and a round in the chamber. Officers also found scales and packaging materials typically used in drug sales, psilocybin mushrooms, 17 oxycodone pills, and marijuana, police said.
