4-Year-Old Twins Killed In Murder-Suicide Where Father Shot Mother: Reports

SAN MATEO, CA — A San Mateo man who was found dead in a home with the bodies of his wife and twin 4-year-old sons is believed to have fatally shot himself and his spouse, according to reports.

The husband and wife were identified by friends as Anand Sujith Henry and Alice Benziger, according to NBC Bay Area.

Officers found the bodies during a welfare check Monday morning in the 4100 block of Alameda de la Pulgas, police said, adding the two children were found in a bedroom and the couple was in a bathroom near a 9mm pistol with a loaded magazine.

Police had been to the home a few times previously, according to the outlet, which reported Henry filed for divorce from Benziger in 2016 but appeared not to have completed the process.

Authorities have characterized the deaths as an isolated incident that poses no danger to the public.
