'Marry Lisa' Bay Area Billboards Get Applications From Around The Globe: Report
The viral billboard campaign has caused applications to flood in from around the world, according to the woman behind them.
SAN MATEO COUNTY, CA — A billboard campaign to find "Mr. Right" has gone global, according to the woman behind the campaign, who said she has received applications from as far away as Brazil, a report from KRON4 stated.
Lisa Catalano, 41, of San Mateo, put up the digital billboards along Highway 101 from Santa Clara to San Francisco that link to her website marrylisa.com.
Her website features dating preferences, likes, dislikes, political party affiliation, and religious beliefs. She has also posted several videos where she shares her views on kissing on a first date, sex, intimacy, and what she considers her best physical attributes. Additionally, Catalano discusses her healthy lifestyle and family in other videos.

"I definitely will kiss on a first date. I have before, and I will do it again," she laughingly admitted in one video posted to her website. "I think it is a good and effective way of figuring out if you have the right chemistry on that date."
Catalano told KRON4 she has seen significant interest in her search for a husband, with applicants from across the country and even as far as Brazil completing her online application.

Catalano shared recent analytics for her website, marrylisa.com, with KRON4. On one day, the site drew over 27,000 unique visitors and more than 127,000 page views. This surge of interest, she noted, has resulted in approximately 350 applications from eligible men who meet her criteria.
