Masked Man Robs Residents At Gunpoint In SMC Home Invasion: Police
Police are asking for the community's help in the investigation, requesting anyone with surveillance cameras in the area to submit footage.
SAN CARLOS, CA — The sheriff's office is investigating a home invasion happened early Friday morning in San Carlos and are asking residents to submit security footage of the area, police said.
At around 2 a.m. on Friday, San Mateo County Sheriff's office deputies said theyresponded to a report of a robbery at a home on the 1400 block of Greenwood Avenue in San Carlos.
Police said the suspect forced entry into the victim’s home, pointed what appeared to be a gun at them, demanded money and valuables, and then fled the area on a bicycle.

Police described the suspect as a man wearing a black face mask, dark-colored hoodie and light-colored pants.
The victim was not injured, police said.

Sheriff' deputies searched the neighborhood, and collected statements and evidence. Drone and K-9 Units were deployed but they did not locate the suspect.
Deputies said residents should expect to see a greater police presence in the area.
Police are asking community members who live near Greenwood Avenue to review home security footage recorded after midnight for any video or images of a person riding a bicycle.
