Here's Where San Mateo Police Stopped A Driver With Meth Packaged For Sale
The man was a convicted felon, police said.

SAN MATEO, CA — A San Mateo Police officer pulled over a man early Sunday morning near E. Poplar Drive for a routine traffic stop, only to find suspected methamphetamine packaged for sale and a weapon, police said.
At 2:46 a.m., an SMPD officer pulled over a car driving in the area of N. Amphlett Boulevard and E. Poplar Drive for “mechanical violations,” police said.
The officer identified the driver as Leovardo Blancarte, 43, a convicted felon, who was driving on a suspended license, police said.

While searching the car, officers said they found 94 grams of suspected methamphetamine packaged for sale, a collapsible baton and drug paraphernalia such as pipes, plastic bags, and a digital scale.
Officers said they were unable to book Blancarte into the San Mateo County Jail due health issues but issued him a citation for multiple charges including: possession of a controlled substance for sale, possession of a weighted weapon, possession of drug paraphernalia, and driving on a suspended license.
