‘No Kings’ Protest Planned For San Mateo County On Trump’s Birthday
The protest is planned in opposition to a military parade on the Army's anniversary and President Donald Trump's birthday.

SAN MATEO, CA — Organizers have planned a counter “No Kings” protest for the afternoon of June 14 in San Mateo as opposition to a massive military parade in Washington D.C. on President Donald Trump’s birthday.
The protest, planned for 1-3 p.m. June 14 at 3011 S El Camino Real in San Mateo, will coincide with others around the nation.
“In America, we don’t put up with would-be kings. NO KINGS is a national day of action and mass mobilization in response to increasing authoritarian excesses and corruption from Trump and his allies,” the organizers stated.

At 6 p.m., the military parade said it will start at the Pentagon’s north parking lot and will disperse along Constitution Avenue to 15th Street in Washington D.C., according to the permit application.
Around 6,600 soldiers and 150 military vehicles will be in the parade, the permit application stated.
Fireworks and a concert featuring “five to seven musical acts” with “well-known performers, likely from the country music world” are also planned in D.C., according to the permit application.
America250.org, Inc., a U.S. semi-quincentennial Commission nonprofit established to help plan commemorations of the 250th Anniversary of the signing of the Declaration of Independence, filed the application.
