SAN MATEO, CA —Power was restored to over 1,500 residents in San Mateo Tuesday morning after a live electrical wire went down at the intersection of Hacienda Street and 37th Avenue.

Nearby residents were asked to shelter-in-place, but police cleared the scene around 10 a.m.
