Police Seeking Witnesses in Hillsborough Home Burglary
The suspect(s) pried open a sliding glass door to enter a home on Butternut Drive.

The Hillsborough Police Department is investigating a night-time residential burglary that occurred in the 2400 block of Butternut Drive.
Police say that sometime during the evening of June 14 or the early morning hours of June 15, an unknown suspect pried open a sliding door to a residence. Once inside, the suspect stole items from within the home.
The Hillsborough Police Department is seeking any witnesses who may have seen any suspicious persons or vehicles in the area during the timeframe of this crime.
Hillsborough police strongly recommended that residential alarm systems be armed, even when residents are home, to deter any potential intruders.
Additionally, they recommend using motion activated lights on the exterior of the home. They ask residents to report suspicious persons or vehicles immediately by contacting the Hillsborough Police Department dispatch center at 650-375-7470.
