We are the only organization that delivers essential services and personalized support to connect the people living in poverty among us to the full range of resources and services they need. More than just ensuring our clients are fed, clothed, healthy, and housed, we help them create their own stability and remain an active, successful part of the community. El Camino Real was closed in both directions in Redwood City Friday morning due to a propane tank explosion at a U-Haul facility. No one was injured in the explosion, which was reported to the Redwood City Fire Department at 8:20 a.m. at the moving and storage facility at 2200 El Camino Real. Fire crews remained at the scene late Friday morning and had water on the propane feeder tank to cool it while the rest of the propane runs out, a firefighter said. Redwood City police closed El Camino Real in both directions.
