Remote Meetings Expected To Remain For San Mateo Co. Supervisors
The supervisors have unanimously extended the remote meeting policy every month since last October per Assembly Bill 361.
SAN MATEO COUNTY, CA — The San Mateo County Board of Supervisors is expected to continue meeting remotely for the next month.
The board is set to meet Tuesday virtually, and it will consider a resolution to extend remote meetings due to COVID-19 concerns.
Assembly Bill 361 allows legislative bodies to hold meetings remotely during a state of local emergency pending re-evaluation of the policy every 30 days.

The supervisors have unanimously extended the state of emergency every month since last October.
“This Board has again reconsidered the circumstances of the state of emergency and finds that the state of emergency continues to impact the ability of members of the Board to meet in person because there is a continuing threat of COVID19 to the community,” the staff report reads.
