San Mateo Co. Worker Hit By Tree, Rescued From Steep Hillside
The man was airlifted to the hospital with major injuries, according to Cal Fire.
PESCADERO, CA — Firefighters rescued a tree worker who was struck by a falling tree near Pescadero on Tuesday afternoon, according to Cal Fire.
Cal Fire CZU tweeted out a video of a helicopter airlifting the man, who sustained major injuries, to a hospital.
The incident occurred around 3:30 p.m. Firefighters used a rope system to rescue the man, who was stuck on a steep hillside.

Various local fire departments, response teams and the San Mateo County Sheriff helped at the scene, according to Cal Fire.
