San Mateo's NetSuite Named One of Top 10 Workplaces in Bay Area

More than 1,500 Bay Area companies were invited to participate in a survey by employees.

According to a press release issued Monday, San Mateo's NetSuite, a provider of cloud-based financials and ERP software suites, has been named one of the "Top 10 Workplaces in the San Francisco Bay Area."

The list is put together based on results of an employee survey conducted by the Bay Area News Group, publisher of the San Jose Mercury News, the Oakland Tribune, and Contra Costa Times, as well as various other newspapers and digital media properties.

"It's an honor to be recognized by the Bay Area News Group as a Top Workplace," said Zach Nelson, CEO of NetSuite. "If you're looking to drive your own career and make a difference, there is no better opportunity than NetSuite. We have built a culture of teamwork and innovation, where hard work is rewarded. At NetSuite, success is in employees' hands."

The Bay Area News Group's 25-question survey was conducted in partnership with the independent research firm Workplace Dynamics. The ranking is based on a composite score of employee response to survey questions regarding company direction, workplace conditions, career opportunities, company execution, management, and pay and benefits.

About 1,520 Bay Area companies were invited to participate, with 112 companies meeting the minimum participation response thresholds of 50 percent of a company's Bay Area-based employees. Ninety-two percent of NetSuite's San Mateo employees participated in the survey.
