San Mateo Seeking Volunteer Basketball Coaches

Junior Warriors Basketball – Volunteer Coaches Needed.  Use your talents and passion for basketball to make a difference in San Mateo by coaching community kids (8th - 12th graders) in the 2014 Junior Warrors Basketball League at the King Recreation Center this Season. Twelve (12) volunteer coaches are needed by January 24, 2014. 

Time commitment is about 2.5 hours/week for eight weeks (about 20 hours), February 8 – March 29. Mandatory Coaches Training held on Wednesday, January 29 from 6:30 p.m. - 7:30 p.m. at the King Recreation Center to discuss league format, rules, how to conduct a practice and coaches fingerprinting information.
