SAN MATEO, CA — More than 30 veterans at The Peninsula Regent in San Mateo were honored on Veterans Day with certificates from the city of San Mateo.

Councilmember Diane Papan presented the honors to residents of the retirement home who served in the U.S. Air Force, Army, Coast Guard, Marines and Navy during an outdoor ceremony.
