Section Of Highway 101 In San Mateo To Close This Weekend
Caltrans is putting in express lanes on U.S. 101 from the San Mateo County-Santa Clara County line to Interstate 380 in South San Francisco.

SAN MATEO, CA — Southbound U.S. Highway 101 between Airport Boulevard and San Bruno Avenue will be closed this Sunday for the San Mateo 101 Express Lanes Project.
The closure will take place from 1 a.m. to 6 a.m. It was originally scheduled for April 10, but delayed due to wind.

The express lanes project is a multi-year, multi-agency project creating 22 miles of express lanes, with the goal of reducing congestion and to encourage carpooling.
