SMC To Host Wildfire Preparedness Event
"Don't Be Scared, Be Prepared" aims to educate residents on wildfire safety measures.
SAN MATEO COUNTY, CA — San Mateo County officials have announced a community event titled "Don't Be Scared, Be Prepared: Be Wildfire Safe & Ready," scheduled for Saturday, April 26, at the San Mateo County Event Center.
The initiative is designed to educate residents on wildfire preparedness and safety strategies.
The event will feature workshops, informational booths, and expert talks focusing on evacuation planning, home hardening techniques, and creating defensible spaces around properties.
