Bay Area Stalking Suspect Threw Gasoline On Woman: Police
The man is accused of visiting the victim's house over 40 times, leaving 20 notes on her property and more over the last two years.
SAN MATEO COUNTY, CA — Sheriff deputies arrested a 59-year-old Millbrae man Wednesday who is accused of stalking a woman in unincorporated Kings Mountain for over two years and at one point threw gasoline on her, police said.
Police said the arrested Dereck M. Estores, 59, of Millbrae, on Wednesday for felony stalking and felony assault with chemicals.
At around 6:45 p.m. on Tuesday, San Mateo County Sheriff deputies assigned to the Coastside Patrol Bureau said they responded to a stalking case at a home located in unincorporated Kings Mountain.

The resident, a 63-year-old woman, said for the last two years Estores had visited her home unannounced around 41 times and left more than 20 notes for her.
In July, the resident said Estores threw gasoline on her legs.

A judge granted an emergency protective order and on Wednesday police said they found Estores driving on El Camino Real in Millbrae and sheriff's deputies took him into custody.
Estores was booked into the Maguire Correctional Facility, police said.
