Traffic Stop Yields Large Amount Of Drugs, Cash In San Mateo
A juvenile who was on active probation was found to have 2,300 LSD tablets, over 1,000 bags of THC gummies and more, according to police.
SAN MATEO, CA — A traffic stop in San Mateo on Tuesday afternoon yielded a large amount of drugs and cash in the possession of a juvenile who was on active probation, according to the San Mateo Police Department.
An officer found marijuana for sale and cash in the juvenile’s vehicle, according to police. During a later probation search, officers found 2,300 LSD tablets, 6.5 pounds of mushrooms, over 1,000 bags of THC gummies, 42 pounds of cannabis wax, three pounds of marijuana and nearly $39,000 in cash, according to police.
Police said they also found a Bitcoin key, scales, packaging material, a replica firearm, a firearm silencer and loaded firearm magazines.
