Suspected Fatal Peninsula DUI Crash Victim ID'd

Officers at around 11:40 p.m. Saturday responded to South Linden Avenue on the report of a major injury traffic collision, police said.

SOUTH SAN FRANCISCO, CA – The victim of a suspected fatal Peninsula DUI crash over the weekend has been identified as Salvador Guillen-Avila, 18 of South San Francisco, the San Mateo County Coroner’s Officer said.

The suspect, who is also 18, was arrested late Saturday in connection the single-vehicle crash, South San Francisco police said.

The suspect was arrested and booked into county jail on suspicion of vehicle manslaughter with negligence and DUI causing death, police said.
