17-Year-Old Arrested For Bomb Threat At High School In Marin County: Police

Police said they identified the suspect connected to a bomb threat made months ago at a local high school.

SAN ANSELMO, CA — Officers arrested a 17-year-old boy Thursday in San Anselmo stemming from a bomb threat that was called in at a local high school in August, police said.

At around 9 a.m. on Aug. 27, Central Marin Police officer received a call about a bomb threat at Archie Williams High School.

School officials evacuated the campus, canceled classed for the remainder of the day and notified parents.

Police said they searched the building and no explosive devices or suspicious materials were found.

Police said they identified a 17-year-old suspect, booked him into the Marin County Jail and charged him with making a false bomb threat.
