Apartment Fire In Marin County Is Under Investigation: Police

Police are investigating a fire that occurred 10 a.m. Wednesday.

SAN RAFAEL, CA — Police are investigating the cause of a fire at an apartment building that happened Wednesday morning in San Rafael, police said.

Before 10 a.m. Wednesday, on the 1300 block of Lincoln Avenue, the San Rafael Fire and Police Departments responded to a fire at an apartment building.

Police said they were able to evacuate everyone from the building and that the fire was isolated to a single apartment.

Police blocked off all of Lincoln Avenue so the fire department could extinguish the fire.

SRFD reported around 10:42 a.m. that was under control.

At 11:15 a.m. Lincoln Avenue was reopened, police said.

No one was injured, police said.

The cause of the fire is under investigation, police said.
