Brush Fire Scorches 4 Acres Near Richmond-San Rafael Bridge
The so-called Dornan Fire was in a scenic area on the north side of the East Bay Regional Park District's Miller-Knox Regional Shoreline.
RICHMOND, CA — A vegetation fire on Nicholl Knob, parkland within sight of the Richmond-San Rafael Bridge, was held to about four acres late Saturday, Richmond firefighters said.
The so-called Dornan Fire was in a scenic area on the north side of the East Bay Regional Park District's Miller-Knox Regional Shoreline.
All trails on the hill portion of Miller-Knox park and Nicholl Knob Were closed Sunday as firefighters continue to mop up, firefighters said.
