Car Crashes Into Utility Pole In Marin County: Police
A road was closed so the utility companies could repair the pole, police said.
SAN RAFAEL, CA — A car crashed into a utility pole that supported cable and phone lines Sunday in San Rafael, police said.
At around noon on Sunday, police responded to a reported car crash on West Francisco Boulevard and Andersen Drive in San Rafael, police said.
Officers said when they arrived they found the car had crashed into a utility pole that supported cable and phone lines but no electric lines were involved.

Police said they are investigating the cause of the crash but have ruled out drugs and alcohol.
No one was injured in the crash, police said.

Officers said they closed the road for a couple of hours while utility companies repaired to the pole and removed utility lines.
