Driver Killed In Rollover Crash In San Rafael: Police
Witnesses reported the driver was speeding and veered across all lanes before the crash, according to police.
SAN RAFAEL, CA — A driver was killed in a rollover crash overnight in San Rafael, according to police.
Officers responded around 3 a.m. Sunday to northbound US-101 south of Manuel T. Freitas Parkway, where a gray 2012 Jeep Liberty had left the road and come to rest on its roof, partially submerged in a drainage ditch, police said.
The driver was found inside with fatal injuries, according to the California Highway Patrol, which added that witnesses reported the driver was speeding and the vehicle veered across all lanes before the crash. Several empty beer bottles were found outside the Jeep, police said.
