Bay Area Driver Who Flipped Car Found Under The Influence: Police
Police said they found the car flipped over and resting on the driver's side.
SAN RAFAEL, CA — A driver of a Lexus collided with a parked Friday in San Rafael causing the car to flip onto its driver's side, police said.
On Friday evening, San Rafael Police Department officers said they responded to a report that a car had struck a parked car and flipped over on Forbes Avenue.

The driver was uninjured but police said they were under the influence of alcohol and arrested.

"This serves as an ongoing reminder that it is never acceptable to drive under the influence of alcohol or drugs," police said. "Irresponsible DUI drivers continue to cause fatalities, injuries, and property damage. DUI drivers significantly impact the safety of our community."
