DUI Program Returns To North Bay
Locals were forced to seek services outside the county after the previous provider closed.
MARIN COUNTY, CA — Those charged with a DUI can, as of Monday, now receive the court required program for education and recovery services once again in Marin County.
Recover Medical Group will offer the program in Marin after the previous provider closed its doors in August 2024.
“This program is critical for both accountability and rehabilitation,” said Dr. Todd Schirmer, director of the Behavioral Health and Recovery Services Division for the Marin Department of Health and Human Services. “Having a local option helps remove logistical burdens that can delay or prevent compliance.”
