Excessive Heat Watch Issued For Marin: NWS
Temperatures are expected to hit triple digits in parts of Marin this weekend, the National Weather Service said.
MARIN COUNTY, CA — The National Weather Service has issued an excessive heat watch for most of the Bay Area including Marin County.
The heat watch will be in effect from 11 a.m. Saturday through 8 p.m. Tuesday.
Temperatures are expected to warm later this week and top out over 100 degrees Saturday and Sunday in Novato and reach the high 90s in San Rafael, according to the NWS’ latest forecast.

“The risk for heat related illnesses is increasing,” the NWS said on the agency’s Facebook page.
“Make sure to hydrate and take cooling breaks if you'll be outdoors. Avoid activities during the heat of the day if possible.”
