​How To Watch The Jan. 6 Hearings In Marin

MARIN COUNTY, CA — The Jan. 6 House Select Committee will hold its first public televised hearings tonight, and there are many ways to watch in Marin.

The first of six televised hearings start at 5 p.m. PDT and will be broadcast on NBC, ABC, CBS, PBS, CNN and MSNBC.

The House Select Committee will broadcast the hearings on its YouTube channel.

NPR will post updates on its live blog.

Fox news will not air the hearings live, but will "cover the hearings as news warrants," the company said in a statement.

Tonight’s hearing is expected to include the release of video and audio of the insurrection the public has not yet seen.

The Justice Department has arrested and charged more than 800 people including a Marin man in connection with the attack on the Capitol riot inspired by former President Donald Trump’s baseless claims of election fraud.

Evan Neumann, 49 of Mill Valley, fled the country last year and was granted asylum in Belarus.
