Bay Area Foundation Will Host Costumed Fundraiser To Support Youth Arts
The nonprofit is inviting attendees to dress up as their favorite artist, musician, dancer, song, or work of art.
SAN RAFAEL, CA — A local nonprofit that supports art education for children will host a costumed fundraiser Oct. 24 in San Rafael with a theme to give all a taste of fame.
Unleash your creativity at “Brush with Fame,” a costumed fundraiser for Youth in Arts from 6-9:30 p.m. on Oct. 24 at the San Rafael Elks Lodge. This event supports Youth in Arts' innovative arts programs, open to students of all backgrounds and abilities.
Dress up as your favorite artist, musician, dancer, song or work of art. Imagine Frida Kahlo, Prince, Misty Copeland, Beyoncé's 'Single Ladies,' or even Van Gogh's Starry Night brought to life.

Get ready to dance and enjoy live music from the incredible KoolWhip Band and Youth in Arts’ 'Til Dawn A Cappella. Indulge in delicious bites, local wine, beer, and mocktails and bid on amazing items in the Silent Auction.
Each ticket directly supports Youth in Arts' programs, fostering creativity, confidence and compassion in students of all backgrounds and abilities.

Youth in Arts programs benefit over 5,000 children in the Bay Area annually. YIA is the main in-school arts provider for students with disabilities in Marin. Additionally, it provides music and dance education in all eight elementary schools within the San Rafael City Schools district, helping to close the arts equity gap in our community.
