Longtime San Rafael Nonprofit Readies To Celebrate New Digs

A ribbon cutting event next week will commemorate the opening the St. Vincent de Paul Society of Marin County's new office opening.

SAN RAFAEL, CA — The city of San Rafael will hold a ribbon cutting ceremony next week to commemorate the opening of a longtime Marin nonprofit’s new office.

The May 12 event will be held from 5 to 6:30 p.m.

A networking event at the St. Vincent de Paul Society of Marin County’s current location (820 B Street) will be held from 5 to 6 p.m. It will be followed by a ribbon cutting at the new offices at 747 B Second Street.

San Rafael Mayor Kate Colin is expected to participate in the ribbon cutting.

The event will include an optional hard hat tour of the new offices.
