Lassen Blaze 90% Contained: Marin Fire
The 44-acre blaze ignited Wednesday afternoon in the area of Mt. Lassen Drive at Idylberry Road, according to Cal Fire.
SAN RAFAEL, CA — Smoke continues to billow from San Rafael’s Lucas Valley neighborhood, but the 44-acre Lassen fire is 90 percent contained, according to the Marin County Fire Department.
Crews remained on the scene as of around noon on Thursday responding to a flareup and reports of smoke, the San Rafael Fire Department said.
Crews remain on scene of the Mt.Lassen Fire to mop up. You may see some smoke throughout the day as crews work to fully extinguish the ~44 acre fire.
