Marin Braces For Triple-Digit Temps
Some parts of the region will go under an excessive heat watch this weekend, the National Weather Service said.
MARIN COUNTY, CA — The National Weather Service has issued an excessive heat warning for most of the Bay Area including Marin County for the holiday weekend.
Most of the region was expected to go under a heat advisory earlier this week, but the NWS has upgraded the advisory to an excessive heat watch based on updated forecasts calling for higher temperatures.
“This means conditions are particularly dangerous to heat sensitive groups and those without access to adequate cooling and hydration,” the NWS said.
