Marin Blaze Chars 33 Acres
No structures were threatened, and no evacuation warnings were issued, officials said.
MARIN COUNTY, CA — A Marin County fire that charred 33 acres was about 60 percent contained as late Wednesday afternoon, Marin County Fire said.

The Dolcini Fire originated early Wednesday afternoon on the roadside in the 6900 block of Point Reyes-Petaluma Road in a rural patch of Marin around 10 miles west of Novato.
No structures were threatened, and no evacuation warnings were issued, officials said.

The blaze was likely sparked by mowing equipment used by Marin County Public Works Department crews who were trimming vegetation along the road, The Santa Rosa Press Democrat reports.
