Marin Ensemble To 'SING OUT!' In Support Of Music Scholarships

MARIN COUNTY, CA — An award-winning Marin teen a cappella ensemble will continue an ongoing tradition later this month when it holds is annual scholarship fundraiser concert.

The 27th annual SING OUT! is scheduled for 6 p.m. Jan. 20. at the Marin Country Mart in Larkspur Landing. The 90-minute concert will also be held virtually.

`Til Dawn is believed to be the Bay Area’s longest running teen ensemble.

The show is headlined by powerhouse `Til Dawn’ alumni performers Liz Hopkins of famed American folk rock band, Delta Rae, who will perform virtually, and soulful singer and Berklee School of Music attendee Celina Ventanilla will sing in-person.

The event is presented by the Marin nonprofit Youth in Arts.

“What I’ve learned in this group – how to communicate, how to listen, and how to exist in the world – is more than any school could teach in a lifetime,” said `Til Dawn graduate Ian Sotnick

All event proceeds support the `Til Dawn Scholarship Fund. `Til Dawn is a tuition-based program, but no student is ever turned away because of inability to pay.
