Marin Freeway Crash Kills 1 (Updated)
The CHP reports that officers responded to reports just before 4:30 a.m. of a pedestrian walking on the highway.

Updated at 11:35 a.m.: All traffic lanes were reopened as of 7:25 a.m., the CHP said.
Updated at 8:54 a.m.: The California Highway Patrol reports that the far right lane of southbound U.S. Highway 101 was reopened at 5:26 a.m. Tuesday in Sausalito near the Spencer Avenue off-ramp.
The southbound lanes were closed at 4:52 a.m., shortly after a person walking on the highway was struck and killed.

MARIN COUNTY, CA — The California Highway Patrol reports that a pedestrian was stuck and killed early Tuesday, forcing a closure of the southbound lanes of U.S. Highway 101 in Sausalito at the Spencer Avenue off-ramp.
The CHP reports that officers responded to reports just before 4:30 a.m. of a pedestrian walking on the highway.
The CHP issued a SigAlert at 4:52 a.m. closing all southbound lanes -- without providing an estimate of when they will reopen -- and contacted the Marin County Coroner's office at 5 a.m.
