The victim was walking on Leese Lane when he was approached by three suspects who grabbed his shirt during a holdup in which they took a backpack that contained a laptop computer and personal items, police said.

The suspects rode off on electric scooters, police said.

One of the responding officers located three teens nearby matching the description of the suspects.

The officer detained two of the suspects and the third suspect who initially rode away on his scooter was detained shortly afterward, police said.

Officers determined that just one of the suspects committed the robbery at knifepoint while the others stood by and watched, police said.

The backpack containing the laptop was recovered in the area and returned, while the knife was booked as evidence, police said.

The identities of the juveniles will not be released due to their age. The individual who committed the robbery was brought to Juvenile Hall on charges of robbery and conspiracy.
