Marin Shelter Orders Lifted After Explosive Device Rendered Safe
The "small" explosive device was found in a home in the 200 block of Cleveland Court along with "multiple" other devices, authorities said.
MARIN COUNTY, CA — The Marin County Sheriff's Office has lifted a shelter-in-place order it sent out Thursday morning to some Tamalpais Valley residents as authorities dealt with a possible explosive device found on a property, the office announced at 4:35 p.m.
The "small" explosive device was found in a home in the 200 block of Cleveland Court along with "multiple" other devices, according to the sheriff's department.
The University of California at Berkeley bomb squad responded to the scene to render the device safe. The Southern Marin Fire Protection District is also involved.

The Sheriff's Office said that the device was discovered in the home of a recently deceased person.
