New Details Emerge From Marin County Airport Fire
The fire occurred during the afternoon of May 22.

SAN RAFAEL, CA — Firefighters extinguished a fire in a storage structure May 22 at the San Rafael Airport that threatened aircraft hangars and other structures, fire officials said.
The San Rafael Fire Department responded to reports quickly and after confirming an occupant's safety and that no one else was inside, they shifted the focus to a rapidly growing blaze to prevent potential spread.

Firefighters were able to contain the fire within approximately 45 minutes, and it was fully under control 30 minutes later, firefighters said.
