Remodeled Marin Safeway Celebrates Grand Reopening
The store will feature new aisle signage named after local streets in town that pay homage to the community.
NOVATO, CA — A Marin Safeway celebrated its grand reopening earlier this week, and several community leaders attended the event for the newly refurbished Novato store at 900 Diablo Ave.
Novato Mayor Pro Tem Mark Milberg and District 4 Councilmember Pat Eklund were among those on hand for the Wednesday morning event, which included a ribbon-cutting ceremony.
The Safeway Foundation contributed $3,000 to North Marin Community Services, a local nonprofit.

The Novato Safeway promises customers even more “ingredients for life” with expanded premium deli offerings and a range of freshly prepared meals and ready-to-serve options, among other offerings. The store also has a “World of Cheese” shop.

It will also have drive-up and pick-up services that allow customers to place grocery orders online, schedule a pick-up time and a Safeway associate will put the groceries directly into their car.
