Ritter Center Hosts 'Under The Stars' Fundraiser Thursday

SAN RAFAEL, CA — Marin County community members are invited to help raise money for a good cause Thursday evening at the Elks Lodge in San Rafael.

The Ritter Center will be hosting its fourth annual "Under The Stars Dare To Dream" fundraiser, complete with dinner, games, music, awards and remarks by Mayor Kate Colin.

Big Jim's BBQ will handle the eats, and the S&S Jazz Band will provide the live score for dinner. Attendees will also have a chance to play live games, participate in a live auction and pledge funds for the Ritter Center's services and programs. Organizers said an anonymous donor will match up to $25,000 in donations.

The awards ceremony will recognize locals and organizations that have made a difference in the quest to end chronic homelessness in Marin County.
