‘Wrong Way’ Marin Suspect Arrested After Pursuit: Cops
The suspect was driving on the wrong side of Highway 101 late Friday night, authorities said.
MARIN COUNTY, CA — A Marin burglary suspect was arrested late Friday night after driving the wrong way on Highway 101 during a police pursuit, authorities said.
The suspect was arrested on suspicion of felony evasion, possession of a stolen vehicle, and possession of burglary tools and booked into Marin County Jail, the Sheriff’s Office said.

The driver of a tan-colored Chevrolet Tahoe made a U-turn on Highway 101 during a pursuit on the southbound lanes of the freeway after deputies attempted a traffic stop at 11:07 p.m., the Marin County Sheriff’s Office said.
A California Highway Patrol K-9 unit and air support helped deputies locate the suspect, who ran into a nearby hillside, the Sheriff’s Office said.

Deputies determined the Tahoe had been reported stolen out of San Leandro and found tools in the vehicle consistent with catalytic converter thefts and burglary, the Sheriff’s Office said.
