Beer City Run, Howl-O-Ween Pet Parade Coming To City Center

On Oct. 26, the center will host a half-marathon, 10k, 5k, beer festival, and costumed Halloween parade full of dog-friendly fun.

SAN RAMON, CA — City Center Bishop Ranch is hosting two events on Oct. 26: one for running, the other for trotting.

The Beer City Run will feature half marathon, 10k, and 5k races taking runners along scenic routes near Annabel Lake and the Iron Horse Trail. The half marathon race is the championship finale of the Beer City Half Northern California Series. The winner of the half marathon will win $5000 in total prize money, and the Golden Growler Award. A portion of the proceeds from the Beer City Run will go to Love & Second Chances animal rescue.

After the races, participants and guests are invited to attend the Beer City Festival, a celebration of East Bay craft beer featuring local brewers, live music, games, and food. Highlights include the Beat the Beast beer mile challenge, the Beermazing Race, and the Fieldwork Brewing Shindig party.
