Cal High Placed Under Secure Campus, Later Lifted: SRPD, SRVUSD
The school was briefly in secure mode after receiving a threatening phone call, police said.

SAN RAMON, CA — California High School instituted a secure campus after receiving a threatening phone call, according to the San Ramon Police Department. As of 1:25 p.m. Monday, the secure campus is lifted, but SRPD personnel will remain on-site for the remainder of the day.
At around 12:26 p.m. Monday, the San Ramon Valley 911 Communications Center received a transferred phone call from a man threatening violence at Cal High, according to the police report. The SRPD School Resource Officer was joined by multiple other officers following the call.
At 12:40 p.m., the Cal High administration placed the campus on secure status, meaning that classes continue as normal behind locked doors. See here for more information.

Police flew drones above the school for aerial surveillance, and checked all parking lots. At 1:25 p.m., San Ramon police said that they "have not found any suspicious individuals or situations that would indicate potential violence," and the Secure Campus Status was lifted.
The school sent two messages to families, which informed them that secure campus protocol was underway, and later lifted.

"San Ramon Police personnel have checked all parking lots and searched for threats within the California High School campus and will remain at California High School for the remainder of the school day to ensure the safety of everyone on campus.
