Child Hospitalized After Car And Bike Collide In San Ramon

SAN RAMON, CA — A child was hospitalized Monday afternoon after a bicycle and car collided at the Iron Horse Trail, police said.

The child's injuries were not life-threatening.

The crash occurred shortly before 4 p.m. at Montevideo Drive and the trail, said Lt. Tami Williams in an email.

The driver cooperated with police and is not suspected of being under the influence. No arrests occurred.

The crash remains under investigation, Williams said.
